CIMMERIAN AFTER ACTION REPORT - OPERATION: DESERT GLUE
- MISSION COMPLETE: 19 JUNE 05 -
This month the Cimmerians
ventured out to the deserts of Nevada for a weekend-long encampment. 3
intense days of MILSIM combat and desert adventure were experienced by all
operators in attendance. This operation was an overall success from numbers in
attendance to complete evolution mission
completion.

SCENARIO:
 - March 2003 – Target: Arak, Iran...
Growing concerns over Iran's nuclear capabilities is
driving internal agencies within the United States to investigate other options.
Rumors and possible sightings of foreign operators,
surveying sensitive weapon sites deep within
Iran territory have routinely been reported. The Pasdaran Independant
Special Operations Group (ISOG) has now been placed on
high alert and deployed to secure the area.
Tensions along the
Iraq/Iran border are now growing even stronger with these sightings clueing the possibility for overt
military action. The missions involved in this operation will use historical elements to
model these rumored incursions.
LOAD OUT:
This was a modern combat reenactment.
As always we expect all operators to TRY THEIR
BEST
to wear a conforming uniform. Any desert pattern uniform will be acceptable to operate for
this operation.

Det. Echo, 5th SFG (AB) - Any US Desert pattern BDUs with soft
cover
- Iranian Pasdaran ISOG:
366th Special Security Unit (MECH)
- Any Desert or Woodlands pattern fatigues with soft cover (shemagh
optional)
REGISTRATION:
All registrations for Cimmerian Ops are handled through
the Automated Registration
System (ARS
).
If interested, submit your contact
information into the ARS and sign the e-waiver
(mandatory). Once you
have received an approval email, you will not have to supply this info
again. From then on, you only need to use the confimation link provided in
each Operation page. An automated confirmation will
then be emailed to you.
1. If
you are a NEW PARTICIPANT and have not operated with the Cimmerians
before, please go to the ENLISTMENT STATION , and follow the
instructions listed. A Cimmerian representative will then be in contact with
you.
2. If you are
a CIMMERIAN or if you regularly operate
with us as a Player in Good Standing and have not yet used
the ARS, you must first go here and follow the
