WWII Reenactors welcome! If you do not have WWII gear, no
problem! BASIC UNIFORMS - U.S. - G.I. - Minimum
uniform, olive green trousers and khaki or OD colored
jacket (GI helmet or ww2 soft hat) It is easy to put together a uniform at little expence. Do your best and that will be fine. See our previous WW2 ops galleries for hints on Uniform Standards Gallery1 Gallery2 If you have a full authentic uniform that is great, bring it out and be a star! WEAPONS - Obviously modern weapons are acceptable. We strive to re-enact the battle more than to be strict with gear. MISSIONS -Specific battle missions will be given at the AO. Taking Enemy Machinegun and Artillery emplacements will be inlcuded. CHOW - Since the weather might be a challenge we will break for chow at midday. A communal cauldren of boiling water will be available to cook dogs and sausages in. Hot coffee will also be prepared. The Mess tent is likely to be a warm haven. SCENARIO - The day is 18 Dec 1944. The battle
for Europe has moved to the frontier of Germany in the Ardennes
Forest. Allied command was busy planning a "final push" into the
Rhineland, when on 16dec the Germans surprised G2 with a vicious attack in the
Bastogne region. As their attack slows, German commanders focus their
assault on a critical rail junctions and supply lines. Fuel will make or break
the German assault.
