OP
Combat Operations Under War-time Contingencies
- Night infiltration
- Gaining Initiative

Op Scenario -
The year is 1985 and the world is on the brink of
global conflict. The Soviet Union and its Warsaw Pact countries have mobilized their
forces to engage its NATO rivals across Western Europe. Daily border firefights
and minor skirmishes a few days ago are now further escalating into daily border
clashes between the two powers all along the borders with “Steel Curtain”
countries. Even reports naval
engagements in the North Atlantic are now on the rise.
WORLD WAR III is at hand!
Intelligence experts believe that years of out-of-control
expenditures of their natural resources and after suffering terrible losses in
civilian lives through the harshest winter on record now has
driven the Soviet Union to the point of despair. To survive they are now
desparate for finding new sources of supply to support their insatiable
thirst for resources.
The Soviet guns have also now turned south to the NATO country of
Turkey, to open a door into the oil-rich
Middle-East...
Load Out -
- Soviet forces - as specified
- NATO - as specified
Authentic military uniforms are required for the whole weekend both on and
off the field of battle. We enourage operators to dress the role, so
real NATO (includes USA) or SOVIET uniforms would be a plus. Desert
patterns are preferred for all operators, however if none are owned, no
matter.
